Super Bowl Fans in Temporary Seats for Game to Receive Refund, NFL Says

The National Football League will give a face-value refund or a ticket to any future Super Bowl to about 2,000 fans who bought tickets forwholesale Super Bowl Jerseys temporary seating at this year’s championship game.

The offer is separate to the ones made to about 400 fans who were prevented from taking their seats for the Feb. 6 Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium2011 Super Bowl Jerseys in Arlington, Texas, the NFL said today in an e-mailed statement.

NFL officials have contacted 260 of the 400 fans who had to watch the game on television screens inside the stadium, the statement said.
